New Arrangement for the 4000 Years Old Castle
Syedra Castle and ancient city built by Romans in B.C 2000s will be restored till the next tourism season with a project in association with Alanya head officer Hulusi Doğan, museum director Seher Türkmen and Gold City tourism complex owner Kerim Aydoğan.
Under environmental arrangements the road to the ancient city, parking lots, walking lanes and resting areas will be built.


Alanya Promotion in Holland
The Utrecht Vakantiebeurs Fair which Alanya takes part has started in Holland. The Utrecht Vakantiebeurs is one of the Europe’s leading tourism fairs. The fair ends on January 18 and it will give the clues of the 2009 sales from Holland and the neighbor countries.
Also Alanya is being promoted in the fair. As well as the face to face meetings Alanya brochures and other promotion materials are being handed in the Alanya stand.
Changeover from YTL (New Turkish Lira) to TL (Turkish Lira)
Turkey started to use TL (Turkish Lira) starting from 1st January 2009 again. During the changeover term, YTL banknotes and coins will be in circulation for one year with TL ones to make citizens to get use to the new currency. After 1st January 2010, YTL banknotes in ten years and YTL coins in one year can be changed with TL in the TC Merkez Bank and Ziraat Bank branches.


Kerim Aydoğan is the new Chairman of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Kerim Aydoğan elected as the new chairman of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) directors board. 71 assembly members were identified on the elections between January 07 – 11. Under supervision of the County Election Commission, directors board, assembly members, discipline members and TOBB general board delegates elected.
The new directors board leaded by Kerim Aydoğan took over the duty from the former directors board with a ceremony. Kerim Aydoğan and the new board members and also former chairman Kerim Taç and former board members took place in the ceremony.
