Hunting Tourism
Besides sea-sand-sun, culture and sports there´s a different branch of tourism in Alanya, “hunting tourism” this is attracting more and more hunters to Alanya. Hunting lovers from all over the world are hunting wild goat and wild boar with the guidance of authorised guides. Wild life is being supported with the achieved incomes from hunting tourism. Alanya holds large and suitable fields for the hunting to take place. Many hunters are interested in Turkey but first are required to apply to a licenced hunting agency.

Lively Beaches
Lively Beaches As we are relaxing during the days of Spring, the number of tourists visiting Alanya and the Antalya region is increasing. The beaches in Alanya and the snowy Taurus mountains are getting more and more visitors everyday. While the warm weather brings the holiday atmosphere in town, crowds are showing that we will have a lively season in 2008.

The Castle, The Ottoman Shipyard and Tophane Restoration
Every year the historic attractions of Alanya are being visited by thousands of visitors, the Alanya Castle, The Ottoman Shipyard and Tophane will be restored according to the basic stuructures. Alanya Castle has been visited by 150591 foreign tourists, 108655 natives and totally 255226 visitors in 2007. Alanya municipality aims to increase the number of visitors and to protect the natural surroundings of the castle after the restoration. The restoration has been started from Tophane area. The elecricity lines will be put under the ground and the sewer system problems will be solved in this area under restoration Works. Mayor Hasan Sipahioğlu explained they have been working to protect Alanya’s historical and natural values as Alanya represents Turkey for the world and after the restoration Alanya city will have a more impressive look for the visitors.
