Europe’s Volleyball
Center in Alanya
European Volleyball Confederation
(CEV) made a decision to cooperate with Turkish Volleyball Confederation for
the European Volleyball Center Project in Alanya. CEV announced in the 28th
general committee meeting held in Moscow that they agreed to build a high level
center in Alanya for beach volley stars’ camps and competitions. Mayor Hasan
Sipahioğlu took part in the committee as a special guest
Red Tower and Tophane
Area Becomes a Museum
Mayor of Alanya Hasan
Sipahioğlu presented the Red Tower and Tophane the project of a naval
museum and exhibition area which will be built in the area of the Red Tower and
Tophane. The aim of the project is to develop Alanya’s cultural tourism and
gain inheritance to the world culture.
Chevrotains Increasing
in Alanya
The number of chevrotains increased
from 233 to 500 in two years in Dimçayı Wild Life Development Area.
Hunting and Wild Life Development Department announced they got more than 120
new born this year. The quota for hunting limited with 5 for the hunting season
and 2 of them separated for the foreign hunters. 5000 YTL is to pay per hunted
chevrotains
